What is the cost of the vaccine?
If you have insurance (in-network with PUC), the cost of the vaccine is covered by your insurance carrier. If you are uninsured and a US resident, the cost of the vaccine is covered by a government program. For non-US residents, the vaccine may be offered at a self-pay rate.
I lost my vaccine card, can I get another copy?
If you had a vaccine done in one of our clinics or at a different location in Florida, we can retrieve that information and produce a duplicate card. If your vaccine was done in another state, you will need to contact the health department in that state for a duplicate card.
Which vaccines do Paramount Urgent Care have?
Paramount Urgent Care has Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 Vaccines. We can administer the first dose, second dose, or your booster dose.
I am feeling sick, can I get the vaccine?
You are advised to refrain from getting the vaccine when you are feeling ill.
Will the vaccine guarantee that I will never get covid?
No vaccine is 100% effective. The Covid-19 vaccine drastically reduces your chances of getting Covid-19. Additionally, studies show that individuals that get Covid-19 after having the vaccine have higher survival rates.
When do I return for my 2nd dose of Moderna or Pfizer?
21 days for Pfizer and 28 days for Moderna – per CDC a delay of up to 42 days between doses is permissible when a delay is unavoidable.
When can I get my Covid-19 vaccine booster?
Moderna – Any patient 18 and up whose second dose was at least 6 months ago, is now eligible for a booster.
Pfizer – Any patient 18 and up whose second dose was at least 6 months ago, is now eligible for a booster.
J&J – Any patient 18 and up who was vaccinated at least 2 months ago, is now eligible for the booster.
I received a vaccine that is not approved in the US, can I get Moderna, Pfizer, or the J&J vaccine booster?
Yes, however you must adhere to the same timeframe guidelines above.
Does my Covid-19 Vaccine booster need to be the same brand as my original vaccine?
It is advised to continue with the same manufacture as your original vaccine, but you can receive either vaccine as a booster if needed.
